The Arizona Board of Dental Examiners, the governing and licensing body that regulate dentists in Arizona, requires that every licensed dentist participate in 72 hours of continuing dental education over a three year period to maintain their license to practice dentistry in the state. Over the course of Dr. Hallberg’s career he has averaged 117 hours of continuing education for any three year period, well above the state’s minimum requirement.
In addition to Dr. Hallberg attending and participating in continuing education courses, the office staff does as well. Staff members often go with Dr. Hallberg to the state dental convention for two days of continuing education as well as other programs throughout the year.
We feel it is of the utmost importance to have this ongoing education for a couple of reasons. First, it is one of the best ways to keep up with the changes that are constantly occurring in the dental profession. It allows us to provide you with the most state of the art and highest standard of care dental treatment as possible. It also, and very frequently, just gives us verification that we are, in fact, doing so.
